What we run
Google is where your buyers already are, so that is where we work
Search and commerce
Google Search Ads Ads shown when somebody searches for what you sell.
Ads that appear when somebody types what you sell. Campaigns are split by service and by intent so you can see which searches actually produce enquiries, instead of one blurred total.
Google Shopping Product listings with your image and price.
Product listings with your image and price in the results. Feed titles get rewritten around how people search, because a feed built for your warehouse rarely matches what buyers type.
Automation and awareness
Performance Max One campaign across Google’s main ad channels.
One campaign running across Search, YouTube, Gmail, Maps and Display. Asset groups and audience signals get built properly first, since the automation only performs as well as the inputs it is handed.
Demand Gen and Display Visual ads for people who have not started searching yet.
Visual ads for people who have not started searching yet. Useful when nobody knows your category exists, wasteful when your budget is better spent capturing demand that already exists, and we will say which applies to you.
Return visits and conversion
Remarketing Different follow-up ads for different visitor actions.
Ads shown to people who already visited and left. Audiences get split by what they actually did on site, so somebody who abandoned a quote form sees something different from somebody who read one blog post.
Landing pages Improve the page behind the ad, not only the campaign.
Ads only convert as well as the page behind them. You get specific recommendations, and if the page needs rebuilding we can build the landing page too.
What changed for clients
What changed for clients
Numbers are the only proof worth putting on this page
01 Client result Cost per lead down from £86 to £38
A South London emergency plumbing company was spending £2,400 a month across one broad campaign. Over five months, the account was split into separate emergency and planned-work campaigns, then 40 search terms with no buying intent were removed. Cost per lead fell from £86 to £38.
02 Client result Booked consultations up from 11 to 29 a month
A private dental practice in North London was spending £1,800 a month, but its tracking was counting some enquiries twice. Once the conversion setup was corrected, budget was moved towards the campaigns that produced real patient bookings. Monthly consultations rose from 11 to 29 within four months.
03 Client result Return on ad spend from 2.1x to 4.6x
A UK-wide B2B equipment supplier was investing £6,800 a month in Google Shopping. Product titles were rewritten around the phrases buyers actually used, while the lowest-margin 30% of products were moved out of the main campaign. Return on ad spend increased from 2.1x to 4.6x over six months.
04 Action required How the results were achieved
These improvements came from fixing the parts of each PPC account that were wasting budget or distorting performance. Campaigns were restructured around different services and levels of buying intent, inaccurate conversion tracking was corrected, irrelevant search terms were removed, and spend was redirected towards the keywords, products and campaigns generating genuine enquiries and sales. The result was lower lead costs, more booked consultations and a stronger return from the same advertising budget.
The strongest PPC case studies show the number that changed, the account problem behind it and the work that produced the improvement.
What you pay and what it is tied to
Most PPC agencies will not tell you the price
The question people ask first is what PPC management costs. The question that actually decides whether it works out is what the fee is attached to.
UK agencies bill one of two ways. Around 45% use a flat monthly retainer. The rest mostly take a percentage of your ad budget, usually somewhere between 10% and 20%, with setup fees of £250 to £1,000 common on top.
Published fees run from about £500 to £5,000 a month, and the median across the few agencies willing to print a figure at all is £470.
Ours are flat, and they are banded by the ad spend we look after instead of charged as a slice of it.

What moves a quote is structure, not budget size. Three thousand pounds across one service in one borough is a different job from three thousand across nine services and four boroughs. Campaign count, how much tracking needs rebuilding and how many landing pages need work all matter more than the number at the bottom of your Google invoice.
Ad spend usually runs three to ten times the management fee, and it goes straight to Google rather than to us. You can compare the PPC plans side by side if you want the full breakdown.
Where the money actually leaks
Wasted spend is rarely a bidding problem
Tracking gets checked first, before a single bid is touched.
Search terms nobody chose
Broad match and Performance Max both pull in traffic from queries you never picked. That is fine when somebody reads the search terms report every week and moves the misses into a negative keyword list. It gets expensive when nobody does, because the same wrong queries keep buying clicks, week after week.
Conversion tracking pointed at the wrong thing
When an account suddenly stops working, the cause is often that form fills and calls are being counted twice, or not counted at all. Smart Bidding then learns from a signal that is wrong, and every decision it makes afterwards sits on top of that. Tracking gets checked first, before a single bid is touched.
A location setting doing something you did not intend
Google Ads can serve your ads to people who have merely shown an interest in a place, as well as to people who are actually in it. On a London campaign that is the difference between reaching your customers and paying for clicks from the other side of the world.
Who this is for, and who it is not
We turn work away, and here is when
This tends to work when
You sell something with a decent margin, you can answer enquiries within a working day, and you have at least £1,000 a month to put into ad spend. Below roughly that figure there are not enough clicks for Smart Bidding to learn anything, and conversion data stays too thin to act on, so you end up paying us to guess.
This tends not to work when
You want us alongside your existing agency on the same account, since two hands on the same bids helps nobody. You want a guaranteed number of leads, which nobody can honestly promise. Or you already have a competitor of yours on our books in your area, in which case we will tell you and turn the work down.

PPC client feedback
What Google Ads clients say
Real Google reviews from clients who trusted us with their PPC and Google Ads campaigns.
Very content with the results and conversions from the Google Ads service.
Blown away by the level of marketing knowledge they have on SEO and PPC. Can definitely recommend them to any UK business looking to rank their website.
Honest and a high level of work. A gem of a find in London for web design, SEO and Google Ads.
Two things worth asking any PPC agency
Two questions most agencies hope you forget to ask
Who owns the Google Ads account?
Plenty of agencies build your campaigns inside an account they own. It feels like a detail until you leave, and then it is not one: the conversion history stays with them, and the replacement account starts learning from nothing. Yours stays in your name, with manager access granted to us and revoked whenever you like.
What does a Google Partner badge actually measure?
Premier Partner status covers the top 3% of Google partner agencies in each country, which in the UK meant 169 out of 1,651 agencies in January 2026. It is earned largely through certified staff, client retention and growth in the ad spend an agency manages. We are not a Google Partner, and we would rather say so here than let you find out later. Judge us on the review count, the published fees and what we change in the first month.
How we start
The first month is mostly listening
Step 01
Account review
We look through what is running now, what it costs and where the search terms report says the money is going. You get the findings whether or not you hire us.
Step 02
Plan and priorities
You see what we would change, in what order, and what we think it moves. No work starts until you have agreed it.
Step 03
Build
Campaigns get restructured, tracking gets rebuilt and verified, ad copy gets written, then everything goes live in stages so we can tell what caused what.
Step 04
Refine
Weekly or fortnightly depending on your plan. Search terms cleaned, bids adjusted, new copy tested, and a report that tells you what happened in plain English.
London areas we work in
London is not one market and your ads should not treat it as one
A firm in Putney competes with a different set of advertisers than one in Shoreditch, and the cost per click reflects it. Campaigns get built around the boroughs you actually want work from, not a radius drawn round the M25.
We work across the rest of the UK as well. If you want the organic side too, we cover borough by borough across London.
Frequently Asked Questions
Questions we get asked before the first call
Ask About PPC
Should I do PPC or SEO first?
PPC buys visibility today and stops the moment you stop paying. Organic builds slowly and keeps working. Most businesses that can afford both run them together, since paid search tells you within weeks which keywords actually convert, which then points the organic search work at the right targets. Learn more about our SEO services.
How long before Google Ads brings in leads?
Clicks start the day campaigns go live, which is the main advantage over organic search. Useful data usually takes four to six weeks, and meaningful improvement on cost per lead normally shows in months two and three, once there is enough conversion history for bidding to work from.
Can you take over an account another agency built?
Yes, and it is most of what we do. The first job is checking whether the conversion tracking is telling the truth, because rebuilding campaigns on top of bad data just moves the problem. If the account is in the previous agency name we will help you get your own set up.
What does a click cost in the UK?
Most UK small and medium businesses see somewhere between £1.50 and £2.50 per click, though the range by sector is wide. Legal services is consistently the most expensive, commonly quoted between £5 and £12 a click, while retail and ecommerce usually sit under £2. London campaigns typically run 15% to 30% above the national average. Be careful with the benchmarks you see quoted online, because many of the most widely shared figures are American and run considerably higher.
Do you charge a percentage of my ad spend?
No. The fee is flat and banded by ad spend rather than calculated from it. Percentage billing, commonly quoted at around 10% to 20% of spend in the UK, has a built-in quirk worth knowing about: the fee rises with your budget whether or not the results rise with it. A flat band takes that out of the conversation.
How much does a PPC agency in London cost?
Ours are £750, £1,500 or £2,500 a month depending on how much ad spend is being managed. Across the UK market, agency management fees commonly run from around £500 to £5,000 a month, separate from ad spend. Ad spend itself is paid directly to Google and for most accounts runs several times the management fee, so budget for both.

What I wish more clients knew sooner
The clients who do best are not the ones with the biggest budgets. They are the ones who answer the phone quickly and tell us which enquiries turned into paying customers. Google can only bid toward the outcomes it is told about. Feed that back and the account gets sharper every month, whoever is running it.
